His brother Russell was my husband's grandfather. We are searching for any information. <br />Denise Tomaykonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388671760617909733.post-34448579417106395012019-06-19T09:02:31.086-07:002019-06-19T09:02:31.086-07:00I know what happened to Vernon Knight Steve Zaley ...I know what happened to Vernon Knight Steve Zaley They Are Only Gone If They Are Forgotten.......Steve Zaleyhttps://82airbornebook.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388671760617909733.post-67037943939508380722018-12-03T16:53:23.308-08:002018-12-03T16:53:23.308-08:00I am the nephew of Vernon Fletcher Knight, who was...I am the nephew of Vernon Fletcher Knight, who was killed at Biazza Ridge while serving as a private in Headquarters Company of the Third Battalion of the 505th. His mother was from Ohio, and he spent considerable time there. I was born after the Second World War and have never seen a photograph of Uncle Vernon, but I don't think that he is the man shown on the left in the photograph: all his surviving siblings looked similar to each other, and different from this man.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388671760617909733.post-5231807731713484282017-01-22T07:02:39.477-08:002017-01-22T07:02:39.477-08:00Mr. Clark I may have some answers to questions tha...Mr. Clark I may have some answers to questions that you have.
